New homes built from the ground up on your lot, with the rooms and finishes you choose.
Custom Home Builder
New roofs and roof repairs that keep rain out of your house and protect everything under it.
Roofing
Extra bedrooms, bathrooms, and sunrooms built onto your home so the family has room to grow.
Home Additions
Bathroom remodels with new showers, tubs, vanities, and tile that make the room easier to use.
Bathroom Remodeling
Kitchen remodels with new cabinets, countertops, and backsplashes that add room to cook and store.
Kitchen Remodeling
Hardwood floors sanded, repaired, and restained so worn boards look rich again without the cost of replacing them.
Hardwood Floor RefinishingWhy Us
We started as a hardwood flooring business, and we still install and refinish floors today, so one licensed contractor can build the house and finish its floors. We hold Louisiana residential contractor license 884790, and we are insured.

In the Area
Inside Plaquemine city limits, a new home cannot be lived in until the City of Plaquemine issues a certificate of occupancy. The city issues it only after every inspection is passed and every fee is paid. Set your move date, and the end of any lease, around the city's sign-off rather than the last day of work.

Questions
We offer custom home building, roofing, home additions, bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling, hardwood floor refinishing, flooring installation, window replacement, house painting, and demolition and land grading.
The city's Historic District Commission, which meets the second Wednesday of each month at City Hall, oversees the National Register historic district covering roughly Church Street, Court Street, Railroad Avenue, and Main Street. Check with the commission before you plan exterior changes to a downtown house.
The base flood elevation is the height FEMA's map expects a major flood to reach. In a June 2013 federal rule, FEMA set it for the Mississippi River at Plaquemine at 42 feet above sea level near where Bayou Plaquemine meets the river. The figure falls to 38 feet near the White Castle ferry. Ask whether a lot sits in the river's mapped flood zone before you plan a new home there.
The City of Plaquemine inspects building, electrical, and plumbing work at the foundation, framing, and completion stages, and only the contractor, electrician, or plumber on the job can request an inspection. No inspection happens unless the permit is displayed at the site. Look for the posted permit when you visit your build.
Although Rosedale is an Iberville Parish village, its residential building permits come from the West Baton Rouge Parish permit office, which also does the inspections. A Rosedale project goes through that office, not the City of Plaquemine.
