Roof replacement, repairs, and metal roofs for homes in and around Baton Rouge.
Our Services

A worn-out roof replaced with new shingles that shed Louisiana rain and stand up to summer heat.

Missing shingles, worn metal flashing around chimneys and vents, and small leaks fixed before they cause ceiling damage.

A long-lasting metal roof that keeps out heavy rain and holds up in high wind.
Benefits
A new roof keeps rain out, protects the attic and ceilings below it, and lets you start fresh on shingle color and style.

Our Work
Roofing work on homes around Baton Rouge and nearby parishes, with new shingles going on and roofs taking shape.

Questions
Curled or cracked shingles, bald spots where the gritty top layer wore off, rusted flashing around chimneys and vents, exposed nails, and a wavy roof line all point to a worn-out roof. Water stains on the roof boards seen from the attic, mostly near chimneys and vents, signal a leak. After a storm, check from the ground or an upstairs window, never by climbing up. A ceiling stained by a leak usually needs interior painting once the roof is fixed.
The 25% rule, which ties a full reroof to how much of a roof needs repair, comes from Florida's building code, not Louisiana's. Louisiana's 2021 code sets two other rules instead. First, a full replacement means tearing the old roofing off down to the roof boards. Second, a roof with two layers already cannot have a third laid over it. Since August 1, 2025, parishes and cities that issue building permits must also permit and inspect reroofing on homes.
Roof size comes first, and a roof covers more area than the floor below it because of its pitch and overhangs. The material comes next: metal roofing costs more up front than asphalt shingles. Rotted boards found under the old roof add to the price once it comes off. If window replacement is also on your list, doing it at the same time keeps the outside work together.
The life-expectancy guide from InterNACHI, a home inspectors' association, puts architectural asphalt shingles, the thicker layered kind, at about 30 years and metal roofing at 40 to 80 years, as guidelines rather than guarantees. Heat, humidity, and poor attic ventilation shorten that. Attic vents that draw air in low and let it out high help a roof last. A new custom home can have that ventilation planned in from the start.
The permit, the material order, and the inspection set most of the schedule, and tearing off the old roof has to wait for a dry stretch. On a home addition, tying the new roof into the existing one adds a step to the schedule.
